Shopify
Shopify is a hosted application based in the USA that allows you to set up an online store to sell your goods. It lets you organize your products, customize your storefront, accept credit card payments through payment gateways, track and respond to orders — all without the hassle of running a physical store.
Shopify doesn’t handle any money or ship any packages for you. It does, however, integrate really nicely with services that do.
Price plans start at about £15 a month (although you get charged in US$) and there is a 30 day free trial
Integrated Delivery
Parcel Monkey has huge discounts with some of the world’s biggest carrier companies due to the large volume they ship. These include DHL, FED EX and TNT. They add a small margin to the price they negotiate and then pass the discounts on to individual and business users.
For example they can pick up a 10kg parcel you want delivered from your home or work and deliver it the next working day for as little as £8.20. The prices are calculated on weight not distance, so it doesn’t matter where in the UK or world you want it delivered.
Using the Parcel Monkey shipment web site integration API, Kyomedia can integrate streamlined shipment services into your web site. No more messing about carting items to a delivery depot, you can integrate your door-to-door courier services directly into your existing shopping cart web site.
There are two levels of integration and three different payment methods to make integration a breeze. With full client access to shipment information, reports and billing information it couldn't be easier.
Key benefits:
- Lower prices
- Total shipment automation
- Seamless professional customer experience
